Health Safety and Environment
Embedded within every aspect of Quadrant Construction is our focus on the Health Safety and Environment of everyone involved in our work.
This applies to our staff, suppliers, consultants and subcontractors. Most importantly, however, it also includes the safety of people living in the communities where we work.
To do this, we provide a continuous training programme for our staff. We undertake daily inspections on site and monthly spot checks on every site, including the immediate surrounding area. We also have a rigorous prequalification for all subcontractors we employ and we ensure all operatives undertake a thorough induction before coming onto one of our sites.
Keeping health and safety at its highest level is part of our daily work. We make sure we comply with all relevant regulations at any time – and go beyond them to include lessons from best practice, wherever we can.
We issue quarterly resident newsletters, provide regular seminars and test ourselves through an independent annual audit from the National House-Building Council (NHBC).
All our sites are signed up to the Considerate Constructors scheme, meaning that we meet the very highest standards of construction within the community.
We are also members of the Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme (CHAS) and the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (ROSPA).
